Who it's for

Men experiencing low energy, reduced libido, mood changes, difficulty building muscle, or poor recovery — and those on or considering TRT who need a baseline before any intervention.

What you'll learn

Your total testosterone level measured against age-appropriate reference ranges, with a clear indication of whether your levels are low, borderline, or optimal — and what this means in the context of your symptoms.

Why it matters

Testosterone declines at roughly 1% per year from the mid-30s. Symptoms are gradual and easy to attribute elsewhere — but a single number tells you whether hormones are a contributing factor. It is the most important starting marker for any male health investigation.

FAQ

Common questions

What Does This Test Measure?
This test measures total testosterone, free testosterone and SHBG (Sex Hormone Binding Globulin). Together these markers give a complete picture of how much testosterone your body is producing and how much is biologically active.
Do I Need To Fast Before The Test?
Yes. Testosterone levels are highest in the morning and drop throughout the day. We recommend booking your blood draw between 7am and 10am and fasting for at least 10 hours beforehand for the most accurate result.
What Symptoms Suggest Low Testosterone?
Common symptoms include persistent fatigue, low libido, difficulty building muscle, increased body fat, low mood, poor concentration and reduced morning erections. A blood test is the only reliable way to confirm whether testosterone is the cause.
Can Women Take This Test?
Yes. Testosterone plays an important role in female health too — affecting energy, libido, mood and muscle tone. Normal ranges differ significantly between men and women and your results will be interpreted accordingly.
How Do I Know If My Result Is Optimal?
Every result includes reference ranges and a clinician annotation. Your AI report will also flag whether your levels are low, borderline or optimal and provide clear guidance on next steps including whether a consultation is recommended.
What If My Testosterone Is Low?
If your result indicates low testosterone, your clinician annotation will explain the finding and recommend appropriate next steps. You can also book a follow-up consultation with one of our specialists to discuss TRT or lifestyle interventions.
How Often Should I Retest?
If you are monitoring testosterone for the first time, a retest after 3 months is recommended. If you are on TRT or actively making lifestyle changes, retesting every 6–8 weeks gives you the clearest picture of your progress.

Wherever possible, samples are tested on the same day. Occasionally, testing may take a little longer due to laboratory workflows or operational requirements.
